Like it says on the front page of our site, WE are aliens—everyone involved in the science and study of extraterrestrial life plays a key part in new discoveries. We support thoroughly-researched reports and stories from accredited news sources as well as firsthand accounts of the unexplained from eminent writers and lecturers whose work is vital to understanding our own humanity.

It Takes a Universe to Raise a Planet

One person isn’t enough to change the world. It takes a collective, a group of people who refuse to acknowledge any limits on what’s physically—or humanly—possible. AWA wants to recognize our peers’ contributions to the study of alien life and celebrate their ongoing efforts to educate the public about extraterrestrial contact.

We’re inspired by the work of many notable investigators, including:

  • William Henry. William Henry is a writer and art historian as well as the consulting producer of the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens. Henry is particularly interested in mankind’s impulse to transcend our human bodies, focusing on human spiritual potential, transformation, and ascension. He has also been involved in the debate of artificial intelligence and human enhancement, including its biopolitics and potential human rights concerns.
  • David Hatcher Childress. A self-described “rogue archaeologist,” Childress has written on the full gamut of unknown phenomena and lost civilizations. His works have explored Atlantis, the hollow earth, UFOs and ancient astronauts, Nikola Tesla, suppressed technology, anti-gravity, vimana aircraft, pre-Columbian trans-oceanic contact, cryptozoology, and secret societies.
  • Erich von Däniken. Since releasing Chariots of the Gods in 1968, Erich von Däniken has written more than 30 books exploring extraterrestrial influences on early human culture. His works—including The Eyes of the SphinxTwilight of the Gods, and History Is Wrong, have sold more than 63 million copies worldwide.
  • Linda Moulton Howe. Ufologist and investigative journalist Linda Moulton Howe holds a longstanding belief that the U.S. government is actively working with extraterrestrials. Her documentary, A Strange Harvest, which links unusual wounds found on cattle to aliens who require these body parts for research purposes, won a regional Emmy in 1981. Howe’s current work continues to examine cattle mutilations, UFO contacts, and government complicity.
  • George Noory. Noory has been the host of the late-night radio talk show Coast to Coast AM for two decades and has made several appearances in the History Channel series Ancient Aliens. He also hosts Beyond Belief, an online video series where guests have a chance to discuss alternative medicines, technologies, and beliefs to understand our role in the universe.
  • Nick Pope. As head of the British Government’s UFO project from 1991 to 1994, Nick Pope has investigated many high-level extraterrestrial encounters, including the Rendlesham Forest incident. He has written both fiction and non-fiction books about the interactions between humans and aliens, is a popular media consultant for Hollywood, and has advised production companies on a variety of alien-themed movies, TV shows, and video games. Pope is a regular speaker on convention panels and forums devoted to alien science and remains one of the world’s leading authorities on UFOs and government conspiracy theories.
